Shah Rukh Khan surprise fans on his birthday with a special announcement; says, “I'm not smoking anymore, guys”
Shah Rukh Khan, who previously confessed to smoking 100 cigarettes daily, surprised fans on his birthday by announcing he has quit smoking. During a fan meet-and-greet event held on Saturday to celebrate his birthday, the actor, known for discussing his smoking habit openly, shared the good news with his fans.
In a video posted by his fan page, Shah Rukh Khan Universe, SRK is seen revealing that he’s no longer a smoker. “There’s a good thing - I’m not smoking anymore, guys,” he told an excited crowd. The Dunki actor went on to say that he had expected to feel less breathless after quitting, but admitted he’s still adjusting to the change.

“Mujhe laga tha ki I will not feel so breathless, but abhi bhi feel kar raha hu,” Shah Rukh said, recognizing the adjustment period. He expressed optimism and stated, “Inshallah, woh bhi theek ho jayega.”
On Saturday, SRK received warm birthday wishes from his daughter Suhana and wife Gauri Khan on social media. Suhana posted a collection of throwback photos, offering fans a glimpse into cherished moments from Shah Rukh's personal life.
She shared a touching collage of four vintage black-and-white photos, highlighting Shah Rukh's playful moments with his children, Aryan and Suhana. “Happy Birthday (heart emoji). Love you the most in the world,” Suhana wrote as the caption for one of the images.
Gauri provided a glimpse of SRK's birthday celebration with her, Suhana Khan, and their close friends. She posted a photo of SRK cutting his birthday cake, flanked by Gauri and Suhana. “A memorable evening last night with friends and family... happy birthday,” she captioned the image.
