In the latest episode of Bigg Boss OTT Season 3, actor Ranvir Shorey shared insights about his personal life, particularly focusing on his co-parenting arrangement with ex-wife Konkona Sen Sharma. Ranvir and Armaan Malik were discussing family dynamics when Ranvir revealed that he lives alone most of the time. However, his son, Haroon, stays with him for half of the time. "Ghar par toh akela main he hoon, matlab mera beta aadha time mere saath hota hai… Aadha time apni maa ke saath aur aadha time mere saath. Matlab bacche ke liye joh hota hai utna he," Ranvir said, explaining their arrangement.
Co-parenting Haroon
Ranvir and Konkona, who got married in September 2010 and welcomed their son Haroon in March 2011, have maintained an amicable relationship post-divorce for their child's sake. Despite their separation, they have ensured that Haroon gets adequate time with both parents. Ranvir emphasized that this arrangement is what is best for their son. The actor’s candid revelations on the show highlighted the challenges and responsibilities of co-parenting.
Ranvir's current relationship status
During the conversation, Ranvir also opened up about his current relationship status. He admitted he is not ready to enter another romantic relationship now. "I think I am not ready to get into a romantic relationship as of yet and that I feel ‘content’ with my work," he stated. This declaration underscores his focus on his career and his contentment with his current situation, even as he navigates single parenthood.
Ranvir and Konkona’s professional collaboration
Ranvir and Konkona have shared the screen in several projects over the years. They worked together in Rajat Kapoor's 2006 film Mixed Doubles, Anil Mehta's 2007 dance film Aaja Nachle, and Anant Mahadevan's 2015 period film Gour Hari Dastaan. Additionally, Ranvir appeared in Konkona’s directorial debut, A Death in the Gunj, in 2017.
