Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif are returning as Tiger and Zoya in YRF Spy Universe’s latest offering Tiger 3. The edge-of-the-seat action entertainer is one of the highly anticipated films of the year with special appearances of Shah Rukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan. In a recent conversation, Salman Khan said that this time around, the story is more emotional and personal.

Speaking to Variety, Salman Khan said, “Audiences have a connection with Tiger, they have followed his journey, they feel a connection with the characters and this time around the film is more personal, more emotional. Plus it is releasing on Diwali day, so we are hoping the audiences enjoy the fireworks on the big screen and enjoy this entertainer with their family in theaters.”

When asked about the most challenging aspect of the shoot for Tiger 3, Salman Khan said, “The bike chasing scene was the toughest – I think! It was a massive block of shoot and it had to be impactful so Maneesh [director Maneesh Sharma] and I discussed this at length and then collectively we all have all worked towards achieving this.”

He enjoyed shooting for ‘Leke Prabhu Ka Naam’ in Turkey with Katrina Kaif. “I quite enjoyed shooting for ‘Leke Prabhu Ka Naam’ in Cappadocia. It is a dance track that I personally love. Katrina and I have been fortunate to have chartbusters that have entertained people across the world and now, ‘Leke Prabhu Ka Naam’ is another track added to that list,” he added.

Asked about an update on Tiger vs Pathaan which will be helmed by Siddharth Anand starring Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan, he said, “Tiger is always ready – so whenever things are locked – I will be there!”

Produced by Aditya Chopra, Tiger 3 is set to release this Sunday, on November 12 in Hindi, Tamil & Telugu. This is the fifth film from the YRF Spy Universe after Ek Tha Tiger, Tiger Zinda Hai, War and Pathaan.
