Ace Bollywood choreographer Saroj Khan passed away earlier today. The 71-year-old, who was recently admitted to Guru Nanak Hospital for breathing issues, suffered cardiac arrest and breathed her last at 1.52 am early on July 3, 2020. Saroj Khan was one of the most respected and celebrated choreographers of the Hindi film industry. Several celebrities took to social media to pay tribute to Khan and shared some of their fond memories with her.
“Many of my teenage dreams came true when she choreographed me in Agneepath. Taskmaster, perfectionist, innovator, trendsetter, genius... Saroj ji was many things to many people. To me, she’ll always be an institution that defined an era of dancing with abandon, emotion & passion. May the heavens dance to your tune Masterji... #RIPSarojKhan,” she tweeted sharing a picture of Saroj Khan.

Saroj Khan had choreographed the song ‘Gun Guna’ from the film Agneepath featuring Priyanka Chopra. The late choreographer has choreographed over 2000 songs in a career spanning more than four decades.
